Lockport (NY) High School

Coach Zugelder is a graduate of Lockport High School and Canisius College, and has been involved in the Western New York Swimming community for over 30 years. He returned to the Lockport High School pool deck in 2020 and currently serves as the Girls' Varsity and Boys' JV coach. He has coached every level of the sport from learn to swim to national qualifiers, in additional to coaching both football and Lacrosse. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, he is a Physical Education Teacher at Lockport High School.

Coach Sullivan is beginning his 20th season as the Boy’s Varsity Head Coach. He is a 1994 graduate of Lockport High School and competed for the Swim Lions between 1990-1994. After graduating from LHS, he attended SUNY Potsdam where he earned B.A. in History and Secondary Education. While at Potsdam he competed for the Bears from 1994-1997. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies he earned a M.A. in History from the University at Buffalo in 2002. He began his coaching career as a volunteer coach with the boys Varsity and Junior Varsity Swim Teams between 1998-2000 before being named Varsity Head Coach in 2000. In addition, he served as a volunteer assistant to the Girl’s Varsity Swm Team between 1999 and 2005 and the Girls Junior Varsity Coach in 2006 and 2007. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, he is a Social Studies Teacher at Lockport High School.
